Changes to your cake/cupcake order such as size, description, flavour, design, colour will be accepted ONLY 3 days prior delivery/pick up date.
Charges may apply.
C-cakes will package up your cake(s) as best as possible to protect them.
C-cakes does not take any responsibility once the Customer has taken ownership of the cakes/cupcakes.
Should the cakes/cupcakes be damaged whilst they are transported by the Customer, C-cakes will not be held accountable and no compensation will be given.
All cakes should be inspected upon receipt/delivery.
All non-edible decorations will be highlighted to the Customer during the order confirmation process, or on collection/delivery and it will be the responsibility of the Customer to convey this to their guests and venue.
C-cakes accepts no responsibility for any physical harm that may occur from the use of non-edible decorations.
Your order may be cancelled 72 hours prior delivery/collection with no cancellation fee.
For an order which is cancelled 48 hours or less prior delivery/collection a fee of 50% of the total price will be applied.
Delivery of cakes
For delivery within Discovery Bay a fee of 40HKD will be applied.
The order will be delivered to your specified address.
For delivery to Hong Kong Island a fee of 120HKD will be applied.
The order will be delivered only to Pier 3, Central.
Within Hong Kong Island we do not deliver to specific addresses.
For delivery to Tung Chung a fee of 60HKD will be applied.
The order will be delivered only to MTR station.
Within Tung Chung we do not deliver to specific addresses.
Your time and date of the event will be required on the day you confirm your order.
Please be aware that your order will be delivered to the address provided in good faith and we cannot accept any responsibility if the intended recipient is unavailable for any reason.
If the carrier has to wait for any reason after the agreed delivery time, charges may be applied.
If the carrier must leave without delivering your order, this will be delivered again at the next, earliest opportunity and it might mean that your event will miss the cake/cupcakes at no fault to us and without any refund.
For the second trial to deliver your order, the same charge as for the first attempt will be applied.
In case of an unavoidable occurrence, such as a car accident, delayed transport means (Hire Car- within Discovery Bay, Ferry- to Hong Island, bus to Tung Chung) C-cakes cannot be held liable for any delays or damages to the cake/cupcakes.
However we will try our very best to ensure that your order is delivered undamaged and on time to your venue.
We shall not be liable for any delay or inability to perform our obligations to you if such a delay is due to any cause whatsoever beyond our reasonable control and you will not be entitled to any refund.
Collection of cake
Upon collection of your cake(s) the complete payment has to be done.
C-cakes will not be liable should the Customer believe that there are problems with the cake once it has left our premises. This includes design, colour or flavour.
The correct tranportation guidelines will be given to the Customer upon collection. Should these instructions not be followed and consequently it results in damaging the cake(s) in any way whatsoever, C-cakes will not be held liable for such damages.

All cakes/cupcakes should be stored at room temperature, out of direct sun, on a flat surface and in the fridge when advised, unless specifically advised not to.
No preservatives or additives are used in C-cakes products. Therefore they should be treated as fresh food and consumed within 72 hours of the delivery/collection date.
In case you wish to store the leftover cake, it should be wrapped in at least 3 layers of clingfilm and frozen until required.
Fresh flower usage
C-cakes doesn't work yet with any reliable florist who could provide safe food flowers. Therefore we advice against it. However for all your wished flower work, we offer sugar paste ones.
In case of fresh flower usage by the Customer, the responsibility of the flowers safety, quality, freshness, colour and safe food practice will rest with the florist/Customer.
C-cakes cannot be held liable for any harm produced by the usage of fresh flowers..
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products we are unable to refund any customer.
Refunds requested due to decoration style, writing, colour, shade, general design, spelling, will not be honoured after collection/delivery. We will send you a picture before collection/delivery to make sure everything is correct.
Cake flavours are subjective. Full refunds requested due to the flavour or texture after the cake has been collected/delivered will not be honoured.
You may qualify for a store credit for your future order if the product is brought back within 24 hours upon collection/delivery and the quality of the cake flavour or texture is found not to meet our standards.
No cash refund will be honoured.
Quality inspection is solely at the discretion of C-cakes.
The store credit is based on how quickly the cake is returned, how much it has been consumed and our final decision about the quality.
No discount will be issued to any customer who doesn't contact us within 24 hours upon collection/delivery.
We do all that we can to make sure that your order is decorated according to your specification on your written order.
Every order is handcrafted. Therefore decorations are subject to our artistic interpretation.
You may provide us a picture as inspiration but we make no claims for the exact duplication of the work done by other cake decorators.
